A bi-monthly magazine produced on behalf of the Somerville Foundation, a charity working for people with congenital heart disease.
Originally we had to set up the overall design style for the magazine, front cover, pagination, article set up, advertising, etc. From there on a bi-monthly basis we are sent word documents and some images containing the articles and have to put this into magazine format ready for our printers. This involves sourcing relevant images, making sure the articles work across pages and coming up with page layout, etc.
We design advertisements and promotions for events services, and even make up a ‘spot the difference’ image for the activity pages. Our designs make sure they take into account some patients who suffer with limited vision and follow the colourful style set at the very beginning.
