36yrs in Sales/Marketing/Graphic Design/Web Design/Advertising & Publishing
Alex set up Footsteps with his brother Steve over 20 years ago, in 2000.
Working for many clients over the years, he’s delivered advertising campaigns for the likes of Adidas and Solomon, managed web and marketing projects for AEG and Miele, launched travel publications in Australia and New Zealand and helped grow many new and start-up businesses, both big and small.
Alex oversees all projects, from brief and budget, through to design and completion. His role is to understand the market and make sure the project and design have reason, and the team do everything they can to deliver the results.
He believes every client needs equal respect. Each project the very same treatment. Irrespective of the size of their business.
At all times, his strives for Footsteps to be forward thinking, fresh and exciting. He want’s clients to know we have a vested interest in their company’s growth.
Foremost, he’s open and honest. He likes to be informal and friendly, whilst adopting a professional, personal approach to a face-to-face business model.
“As much as we say what’s good with a project or idea, we also point out what may be a bad idea and look for better options. We’re definitely not Yes-people - it’s simple if our clients are successful then we’re successful”.
He’ll urge you enjoy a ‘proper’ cappuccino/macchiato if you come into the office (yep – he’s a coffee snob) and always welcomes a chat about a decent recipe or two. Escaping work, he loves cooking/BBQ’ing for his family and friends (taking inspiration from the many years spent in Southern Italy), enjoys kayaking, fitness and cycling and loves watching his son play tennis, rugby and football.
