Alex set up the company with Steve nearly 20 years ago, in 2000. The aim to build a successful media company with a second to none service.
Having worked for various companies to deliver a multitude of projects, across a plethora of media and in a diverse set of markets, Alex understood just what was needed to bring success to any company he worked alongside.
He has worked on campaigns for many clients over the years, delivering advertising campaigns for the likes of Adidas and Solomon. Managing web and marketing projects for AEG and Miele. Handling marketing campaigns for publications in Australia and successfully launching new publications into New Zealand when recruited to work in Sydney, Australia.
Alex wants Footsteps to be forward thinking, fresh and exciting. He wants his clients to feel like Footsteps have a genuine vested interest in their company’s success. As far as he is concerned it’s simple ‘if our clients are successful, we’re successful’.
He believes in being open and honest with all his clients. Adopting a friendly, but professional, personal approach to a face-to-face business model. To him, every client, no matter the size of their project, deserves the very same treatment to ensure the best results.
He oversees all projects, from brief, through design, completion and successful running of any campaign. He ensures the project understands the market, the campaign and design have reason and that the team do everything they can to deliver the results.
On a personal note, Alex will urge you enjoy a ‘proper’ cappuccino/macchiato, etc. etc. in the office (yep – a coffee snob), always welcomes a chat about food, a decent choice of wine and a good restaurant recommendation - if you have one? He escapes in his caravan to Aldeburgh (on the Suffolk coast) with his wife and son as often as possible and would be more than happy to bore you about the pleasures of how you can cook everything on a BBQ (charcoal that is!!!).
