A wireframe (something similar in layout to a family tree) allows us to build your website so that the end user will be able to navigate around your company or organisations’ details with little or no fuss. It will ensure nothing is missed in delivering the desired message to your potential clients or customers.
It plays a major part in the web designer’s knowledge of your business, so we can advise on the best delivery of your message and, in turn, allows you to understand how your website can work for you – something we feel is very important when embarking on any new website project. If you can see simply, how your website is going to work, without the boring jargon, you can use it to it’s full potential and therefore help you achieve your decided goals.
The wireframe also helps decide the budget of your website by narrowing down the specifics on the best use of software, animation, navigation, and all the general bells and whistles a website has to offer. It drills down to make sure you are getting what you want and what it costs to implement, so you can then chose one function over another. “Should we just add this? Can we have that?” the answers will be on the page in front of you.
It’s always easier to understand something when you see it, so by having this series of boxes with their respective content titles on a hard copy page, you can see what web pages are linked to another and what items you may need to include or delete as they’re a repetition.
In short a wireframe will enable an easy process from pen to paper in the beginnings of the website, to the click of the button as your website goes live and ensure the perfect structure to perfectly get your message across to your audience.
